While the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick allow you to select from never, 5, 10, or 15 minutes for the screensaver timer, there is nowhere in the device's settings to change the sleep timer. That's set to 20 minutes regardless of how the screensaver is configured. Most of the time it is on YouTube (normal, not TV). How do I keep the Amazon Collections Screensaver on longer than 5 minutes? I love the pictures with the collections screen saver but it disappears after 5. I want my screensaver pics to keep running, and can NOT find anyway to do this! I've found coding tutorials on how to customize the start time (changing the 5 minutes start time to 3,000 milliseconds in some program called ADB will have it start in 3 seconds) but nothing on how to make it run longer! an hour? indefinitely? These instructions work for all Firestick and Fire TV models. If your Fire TV device doesn't use Ambient Experience, the steps are slightly different, but you can still choose to either turn off the screensaver entirely or delay its start up time. Select Settings > Display & Sounds > Screen Saver > Start Time > Never to prevent the screensaver from turning on.
