EA Games and the gaming community are celebrating 30 years of Need for Speed™. To mark the anniversary of this genre classic, BMW M is showing the 100 per cent real version of what might be the most famous racing game car in the world: the BMW M3 GTR from Need for Speed™: Most Wanted from 2005. The BMW M3 GTR mimicking the hero car from Need for Speed Most Wanted is on display at the BMW Welt until January 6, 2025.

With a dynamic display area - currently home to our very own Need for Speed BMW M3 GTR - for themed events and special occasions, BMW Welt seems to cover all bases when it comes to providing BMW customers with an entertaining experience surrounding their favourite brand. The space is also used for external projects. Perhaps the single most iconic car from the Need for Speed gaming franchise has been brought to life by BMW, and it's now on display at the BMW Welt museum in Germany until early January 2025.

50 years BMW Art Cars. A new exhibition also awaits you at the BMW Museum. Until February 1, 2026, the BMW Museum will be presenting three 3-Series Art Cars: the BMW M3 GTR by Sandro Chia, the BMW M3 by Michael Jagamara Nelson and the BMW M3 by Ken Done.

A fusion of performance and culture awaits! The BMW M3 GTR, famously recognized as the hero car from the video game Need for Speed Most Wanted, is currently showcased at the BMW Welt in Munich. This iconic model, based on the E46 generation of the M3, features a lightweight chassis and was originally equipped with a 4.0. A replica of Most Wanted's famed M3 GTR is on display at the BMW Welt exhibition until 6th January.

To celebrate the 30 th anniversary of Need for Speed and the release of Unbound's Vol.9 update, BMW has created a real-life version of Most Wanted's iconic hero car, the 2005 M3 GTR E46. Most Wanted by petrolheads and gamers alike. The BMW M3 GTR from Need For Speed Most Wanted, on display now until January 6th at @BMWWelt.
