With engaging storytelling, fun activities, and simple life lessons, we'll make learning about Esther an enjoyable experience for your toddlers.
Who Was Esther?
Esther was a young Jewish woman living in the kingdom of Persia (modern-day Iran) a long time ago. She was beautiful, wise, and had a big heart. When she was chosen to be the new queen, she used her position to help her people and make the kingdom a better place. Let's dive into her incredible story!
Esther's Bravery: A Tale of Courage
Once upon a time, the king of Persia had a big party and invited all his nobles. During the party, he asked his queen, Vashti, to show off her beauty. But Queen Vashti refused, so the king sent her away. He then searched for a new queen and found Esther, who was kind, smart, and brave.

Meanwhile, a man named Haman, who was proud and mean, wanted everyone in the kingdom to bow down to him. But one man, Mordecai, refused because he was Jewish, like Esther. Haman got very angry and decided to harm all the Jewish people in the kingdom. He even made a plan to hang Mordecai on a tall gallows!
When Esther heard about Haman's plan, she knew she had to do something. Even though it was dangerous, she decided to talk to the king about Haman's evil plan. With courage in her heart, she invited the king and Haman to a special dinner at her palace.
Esther's Plan: Saving Her People
At the dinner, Esther told the king about Haman's plan to harm the Jewish people. The king was so angry that he ordered Haman to be hanged on the very gallows that Haman had prepared for Mordecai! The king also made a new law that protected the Jewish people and allowed them to defend themselves.

Thanks to Esther's bravery, the Jewish people were saved, and they celebrated their victory with a special feast called Purim. Even today, Jewish people around the world remember Esther's courage by celebrating Purim every year.
