Through its plot, "Zootopia" positions itself as an allegory for the dangers of racism and bigotry. The film quickly frames predators as a marginalized minority group. From small towns to the big city, they are routinely stereotyped and demeaned based on outward appearance.

"Zootopia" has finally crawled out of hibernation. It's been nine long years since Disney's first animal. Zootopia 2 Movie Review 9 years ago, Zootopia became yet another breakaway hit for Walt Disney Animation Studios as their signature animation style brought to life this incredibly wonderful and vivid world of anthropomorphic animals, using both comedy and accessible drama to explore themes like societal inclusiveness and acceptance.
And after the success, it was inevitable that a sequel would. Zootopia actively reinforces negative stereotypes of bureaucracy and the public sector, using specific char. Zootopia 2 is honestly one of the best sequels Disney has released, and it delivers laughs from start to finish.
If the first movie had a great balance of humor and heart, this one pushes the comedy even further while still keeping the emotional moments strong. In fact, there are some great pieces out there already showcasing reasonable criticisms for Zootopia that other critics (even me) have glossed over. That said, there's one other "bad" review for this movie that makes some decent points, though it's written by a film critic who gave Annie (2014) 3.5 stars out of 4.
The original "Zootopia" was a minor miracle. Here was a Disney animated film that took themes of race and prejudice and managed to make a sensitive-to-all-sides tale, anthropomorphize it and, as a bonus, sneak in a Department of Motor Vehicles sloth gag that the DMV is still wincing from. Zootopia is brimming with silly, slapstick humor and terrific one-liners - and yes, some simple yet valuable lessons about tolerance and prejudice and learning to embrace our differences.
