Planning and Rough Preparation

Success in this project starts long before the sealant cures. You must verify that the new fixture aligns with your existing plumbing rough-ins, which are the pipes embedded within the walls and floor. Most standard sinks are designed to fit with 15-inch or 30-inch center-to-center spacing; deviating from this can lead to misaligned water lines and a professional-looking disaster.
