2022 Toyota 4runner Trd Pro Lime Rush

Every year, Toyota likes to spice up its TRD Pro models with a hot new color. For 2021, the Japanese automaker slathered its TRD Pro models in the futuristic - and primer-looking - Lunar Rock color. But for 2022, the 4Runner and Tacoma TRD Pro models are now available in a shocking Lime Rush.

Well, the 2022 Toyota 4Runner in Lime Rush has finally be spotted out in the wild! This is the exclusive color for the 2022 TRD Pro model on the 4Runner. We've officially crossed the finish line with our 2022 Toyota 4Runner build with CSF - for now. This Lime Rush TRD Pro went through some intense changes, made its debut appearance at our Cars+Coffee: Overland Edition event, and now gets to experience its first real trail ride.

Toyota released Lime Rush on all 2022 4Runner TRD Pro models as their unique color of the year. Suffice it to say, this color got a ton of mixed reviews.

However, it seems the positive feedback outweighed the negative because they brought. Enter the 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. I was fortunate to spend a week with one of these Lime Rush beauties in July of 2022, and I admit, I was inexplicably captivated by it.

Less than 700 were made that year for the 2022 Lime Rush TRD PRO, according to a source who works at Toyota, primarily due to the chip shortage and COVID. After 2022 model, it became an option on other 4Runners than the TRD PRO. Toyota published its brochure and landing site for the 2022 4Runner, and not much has changed *except* the new Lime Rush color for the TRD Pro.
