Open to all! Wed & Sat. Rhlc Community Fridge The Resurgam Healthy Living Centre Community Fridge based at LaganView Enterprise Centre opened in July 2022. The RHLC Community Fridge is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 11am to 2pm.

The RHLC Community Fridge is about reducing food waste so anyone can attend and will be made welcome. Adrian Bird Resurgam Trust Director, Lisburn Mayor Councillor Scott Carson and Keith Campbell. The Rhlc Community Fridge receives donations from a wide range of food retailers, community gardens and local food shops of food that we make available to anyone in our community who wishes to prevent food going to waste.

Our food is based on the donations we receive, people bring a bag and take what they can use. The service is free and open to anyone. Laganview Enterprise Centre 69 Drumbeg Drive, Old Warren, Lisburn BT28 1QJ Mon, Tues and Fri 9 -5, Weds and Thurs 9-6pm, Sat 11.

The Resurgam Community Development Trust is a membership organisation working with and for communities across Lisburn. We have a focus on regeneration using local skills and resources to ensure our communities can thrive and the people in them can reach their full potential. We seek to improve access to and use of green spaces within our communities through community gardens, growing.

Today we visited the Community fridge at Laganview Enterprise Centre Everyone is welcome and for more information on opening times please join their Facebook page. The community fridge serves as a space where residents, local businesses, and organisations can deposit edible food that would otherwise go to waste, making it available for anyone who needs it. Through this initiative, we raise awareness about food waste reduction, build solidarity, and promote sustainable food habits across Lisburn.
