I deleted the EGR system on my 94 EX Cab 22RE and it keeps throwing the egr code (7 blinks _ 1 blink). I've heard that you can put a resistor in that will keep you for throwing the code and having to reset it all the time or just leave the check engine light on. Has anyone fixed this problem before?

i have a 94 toyota pickup with the 3.0 v6 engine in it this is an offroad only truck and i got rid of the egr on it what vacuum hoses still need to be hooked up to run properly it now seems to run rich at idle probably because i dont have the vacuum hose hooked up to the fuel pressure regulator but i dont know where to hook it up would that cause it to run rich at idle and what do i hook it up.
