Bmw F80 Brakes On E46 M3

Hi Guys, This is actually my first thread, I'm from Brisbane, Australia. I purchased my 2005 M3 CS in the UK back in 2012 and brought the car out here with me shortly after. Recently I've completed installing a full F8x brake setup off current M2/3/4's on the E46.

I've swapped everything. I'm looking to install F80 brakes F/R on my 2003 E46 M3 which is used 90% track/10% street. I've read the DIY threads on here and M3cutters.

1. Does anyone know if these will fit with 18x9.5 Apex Arc8 ET35 wheels? I use 12mm spacer in the rear, no spacer in front with 275s. 2.

The project began when we searched for a relatively lower price Big Brake Kit solution for our M3. After receiving a lot of information about people installing F8X M3/M4 brakes on their E46 M3s, and finding out pre-owned M3/M4 brake setup can easily be found for sub $1500 including rotors, we decided to have a try. High quality reinforced brake caliper brackets to fit F80/F82 rear brake calipers on your E46 M3.

These brackets will fit directly with the F80/F82 steel 370mm rear brake discs and calipers OEM part numbers of rear calipers. Thee OEM E46 M3 lines can work but I would not recommend it as there is a lot of stress on the line. As a temporary solution, I used the OEM M4 brake lines which were probably a few inches too long, but they get the job done.

I will get some E46 M3 SS lines made with 90 degree to connections later as a permanent solution. My mechanic and I are trying to replace my 328i's stock brake master cylinder with one from an E36 M3 in order to reduce the brake pedal travel, which was lengthened when I upgraded to E46 330 front brakes. We have the correct M3 master cylinder, and it fits on the brake booster.
