The i4 has a lower monthly lease payment than even the cheapest car sold by BMW, the 2 Series. It's also cheaper to lease than its gas-powered sibling, the 4 Series Gran Coupe. The all-electric BMW i4 is currently the most affordable car to lease in the German automaker's lineup.

The i4's lease deal features a $7,500 lease credit from BMW Financial Services factored in, effectively lowering the payment. This credit is also available when purchasing in cash, although it drops to a still significant $5,000 when financing. The lease rate equivalent can be calculated and can be better than the finance rate, with some difference in fees, but it can be a substantial gain to buyout a lease at its end if the value of the used car is high.
