Bmw R18 Homage Seat

Hi to all, My first post here but hopefully some will find it useful. Thought I would post my experience with the install of the factory BMW Homage riders seat and what I think of it overall. So I ordered the seat a bit ago.

It finally showed and upon opening the box, found there is no mounting. Remove seat and panel. Additional tip: The ring antenna for the KeyLess system is built into the Hommage seat itself without the possibility of access.

Therefore, when converting from a standard seat to a bobber, the KeyLess ring is removed (usually remains on the original fender) and the seat with the inner antenna is connected there. This Seat Hommage allows you to customize your BMW R18 or R18 Classic motorcycle towards a more personalized look. Made in homage to the motorcycles of the 1940s, the Seat Hommage has a durable painted plastic shell, lined with a special foam material, with an embossed design.

Year: 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 Remarks: Custom seat for Wunderkind bobber kit Country of Manufacture: Germany Wunderkind. The homage single seat is a real eye-catcher and is reminiscent of the historic BMW motorcycles in terms of the eccentricity of an R 5 or R 32. Highlight with respect to design and individuality.

Remove the BMW R18's unsightly seat and replace it with an attractive spring-loaded solo saddle. This product is perfect for enhancing the vintage, bobber look of the BMW R18. Has any ROCTANE forum owners installed the Hommage seat; or better yet, any R18 B owners explored this modification? I find myself constantly looking at the ROCTANE accessories, in order to add a unique, yet tasteful look to my R18 B.

I've been reading the R18 "Homage" threads, and like the. The homage, due to the way it mounts, also opens up the possibility of adding some spacers to lift it a bit higher as well I've seen an example posted somewhere that a 6'4" person has done.
