Owning a BRZ is a passion for driving enthusiasts, but maintaining its performance requires trusted service at an authorized Toyota facility. If you're asking, 'Can you service BRZ at Toyota?', the answer is clear: yes, but with important guidelines.
Beyond dealerships, third-party garages may offer BRZ repairs, but service quality varies significantly. Always verify that technicians are trained on BRZ-specific systems—especially its turbocharged engine and lightweight composite body. For peace of mind, prioritize Toyota’s official service network to avoid misdiagnosis or improper repairs.
Routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks are essential for longevity. Advanced services include turbocharger servicing, transmission diagnostics, and suspension tuning. Authentic Toyota parts ensure compatibility and durability, while certified diagnostics catch issues early before they escalate.
Use Toyota’s official service center locator tool or contact your nearest Toyota dealership to confirm their BRZ service capabilities. Look for certifications like ‘Branded Repair Operations’ and verify technician credentials. Pre-scheduling appointments online streamlines the process and ensures prompt attention.

On the other hand, I also own a Toyota, and their service centre is great and within walking distance to my house. Toyota says they can service the brz and I'll retain the Subaru warranty. I'd much rather do this but has anybody tried this before? Would the warranty still be honoured if I service a brz with Toyota?
If you own a Subaru BRZ and are wondering if you can service it at a Toyota dealership, the answer is yes. Toyota dealerships can provide regular maintenance, service, and parts for the BRZ. A BRZ is my first choice.
However, a point of concern is the ability to get it serviced without having to drive an hour (I'm living in the middle of nowhere). Fortunately, there's a Toyota dealership about 15 minutes away. Is it possible to service it there since it's basically the same car as an 86?

Must I always return to the Toyota dealership where I purchased my vehicle to take advantage of ToyotaCare? No. ToyotaCare no cost maintenance is available at any participating Toyota dealership in the continental United States and Alaska.
