(self.askcarsales) submitted 3 months ago by fobreezee I'm mainly wondering the difference in the gas mileage and overall right from the bigger wheels?
It's easier to find a regular Corolla since they are manufactured in the US. The Corolla Hatchbacks are popular, but Toyota has been careful about supplying hatchbacks and wagons in the US, since the US has had a strong preference for sedans and SUVs in recent years. The dealer I bought mine from said they get one hatchback for every 50.
Just picked up a 2022 Corolla hatchback 6 Mt after My 2009 Toyota 5 Mt Matrix blew up at 415,xxx miles hopefully I'll get similar miles out of the 2.0. So I've been looking to get a new car for a while now but can't decide which one. My main options are a Corolla hatchback, a civic hatchback, and a Mazda 3 hatchback all in a manual of course.
My question is what made you get a Corolla hatchback instead of a different hatchback. Thank you. The hatch's cargo area was useless if equipped with a spare tire (don't believe Toyota's cargo area volume numbers - Google images and see for yourself).
If without a spare the hatch is much more usable. The rear seat is still tight because of the shorter wheelbase. The hatch feels sportier but I'm sure the XSE sedan would not drive too.
