Privacy Policy of Cipher VDA

Cipher VDA is built as an offline-first tool. Privacy and data integrity are the core principles of the Visual Digital Archive project.

1. Data Collection & Processing

Zero-Data Collection: Cipher VDA does NOT collect, store, or transmit any Personal Data to external servers. All image processing, ASCII transformation, and PDF/A-3B generation occur entirely on your local device.

Source Content: Images selected from your library stay on your device. The Application does not have access to your network and cannot upload your creative work anywhere.

2. Device Permissions

To provide its service, the Application requires the following local permissions:

• Photo Library / File Access: Used exclusively to allow you to select images for archival and to save the generated PDF files.

3. Cryptography & Integrity

The Application uses SHA-256 hashing for Digital Sigils (integrity verification). This process is mathematical and local. No identity-linked cryptographic keys are transmitted.
