Bmw V8 Z3

Hasan Motorsports has always enjoyed the great feel and handling of a BMW Z3. But soon a condition known as torque fever started to develop. The first attempt at treating this alignment was by installing a supercharger kit.

This only provided slight relief but didn't give any long. Hi All, I have fiddled with my Z3 (pic below) and fancy dropping a V8 in for a bit more grunt. I want the torque and easy driving rather than a race or track car with screaming revs.

This 2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster has had a "V8" swap using Vorshlag Motorsports components and an all-aluminum LS1 V8 and 6-spd manual.

For LHD and RHD models. The Z3 isn't the most memorable BMW, but it's still nice to drive-especially versions built by the company's M division. This Z3 takes things one step further, packing a 400.

The Z3's powertrain was swapped for one from a 2007 Corvette Z06. The engine bay now holds a 427 ci LS7 V8 making 505 hp sending power through a torque tube to a six-speed manual transaxle with 3.42 gears. The car rides on adjustable coilovers and a set of MWS 15-inch wheels with Michelin Defender A/S tires (205/65).
