In 1995 BMW and Neiman Marcus (the American department store) decided to make 20 exact copies of the BMW roadster that was used in the soon to be released James Bond movie Goldeneye. Z3 Bond Edition 007 Back in 1995 James McDowell, vice president of marketing at BMW North America, Inc. and mail-order firm Nieman Marcus worked together to launch the BMW Z3 roadster in the Nieman Marcus Christmas Catalog.
