UPDATE TO NOISE: Ok, I took my hybrid to my dealership this morning after they told me they had 2 mechanics there that were certified with the new hybrid (Sacramento Hyundai). After opening my hood when my car was on and in EV mode, the mechanic listened to the noise and said it was completely normal. The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is the best EV I've driven.

Not because it's the fastest or because it handles the best, but because it makes you feel like you're not driving an EV at all. Synthetic. I do like the sounds an EV makes when accelerating, sometimes a little bit of coil whine, these sounds are kind of futuristic and I love that.

But since a couple of weeks I came aware of a sound my Ioniq makes at certain speeds only and it started to annoy me a little. It's a soft kind of howling sound which kicks in at 60km/h until 80km/h, then it disappears again. Also at ~20km/h exactly.
