U.S. immigration authorities raided Hyundai's Georgia electric vehicle plant, shutting down construction at the adjacent battery factory site. The massive new Hyundai EV plant outside of Savannah, Georgia, was raided by ICE on Thursday.

Federal agents took hundreds of people into custody at the site, including executives from LG Energy. The operation targeted one of Georgia's largest and most high-profile manufacturing sites, where Hyundai makes electric vehicles and is building an EV battery plant.
