Power Steering Fluid Bmw Z3

I noticed a few drops of oil under my 1998 Z3 2.8L and on further investigation I saw it was the infamous power steering hose coming down from the reservoir to the pump. The cap says "ATF Fluid". Do I use Dexron III or Dex/Merc, or are these the same? Any information is greatly appreciated.
