If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or navigating a difficult transition, you don't have to face it alone. Life's challenges can bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional pain, but support is available, and positive change is possible.
Therapy is a space where you can slow down, reflect, and make sense of life's challenges in a supportive environment. I strive to create a warm, nurturing, and judgment-free space where you can explore your experiences, heal from past hurts, and build a life that feels meaningful and authentic to you.
I work collaboratively with clients to help improve mood, strengthen coping skills, increase self-understanding, and create lasting change. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect for your unique experiences. For clients who connect with creative approaches, I also integrate Expressive Arts techniques to support healing, self-expression, and personal growth.
As someone who immigrated to the United States, I understand the unique challenges that can come with adapting to change, building a sense of belonging, and navigating different cultural experiences. I also recognize the impact that identity and life experiences can have on our mental health and personal growth.
My counseling style is person-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe each individual has the capacity for growth and healing, and my role is to provide a supportive environment where that process can unfold. I use evidence-based therapies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills for everyday life. We can also incorporate Expressive Arts interventions to encourage deeper insight, creativity, and self-discovery when appropriate.
I am trained in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialty in Expressive Arts Therapy. Prior to entering the counseling profession, I worked in special education and supported students as they transitioned from high school into their next steps.
My path to counseling began during my years in education, where I discovered a deep passion for helping people overcome challenges and reach their goals. I feel honored to now focus on that work full-time and to walk alongside clients as they move toward healing, resilience, and greater well-being.
