The Kitchen Room was a great experience of my wife and I for a recent Anniversary. Being literally in the kitchen, and the only table there, you get served and interact with the staff (and you have a server, too). It's really interesting to see the different sections of the kitchen function and to see the dishes you'll have in advance.

The table itself - a single table for 4 inside the very large kitchen - is an exciting place to be. It feels special. It is special.

It is simply mesmerizing and the kitchen at The Modern is no different: organized in three sections: dining room, pastry and bar room, the 30 or so staff there were working like a well oiled machine while 30 other people where preparing the next service (we went for lunch). Indeed, they gave me the view, except that it is a closed kitchen, so, they set up a table inside of the kitchen, just for me. On top of that, the service began with the mini tour of the kitchen.
