December 19, 2023 -Have matching lights both sides of the desk to illuminate that dark corner. Use edison bulbs in warm white so they aren't too harsh on the eyes if you're using clear shades. They look cool and quite industrial too.

January 28, 2024 -This is a great room for a cozy office/library! You’ve got big windows and recessed lighting. I would make sure the lights are dimmable and look into grasscloth wallpaper if your budget allows. If not go all dark- all the walls and the ceiling.

Just don’t do black, stick to green, blue, and purple.
