Steam cleaners are nice in the fact that they introduce clean water to the surface and then suck it away with out recycling the now dirty water back into the surface.
The higher temp can be beneficial for dirt and oil/grease but will work a lot better with at least some kind of detergent. Walls and ceilings and cleaning these with a sponge mop takes ages and isn't as good as I'd like. I'd love to have a steam cleaner that I can just hold in my hand with a steam nozzle but that also supports some attachments like maybe for walls, etc? Again the options are limitless which doesn't help and neither do a lot of the reviews.
