Hi all! I drink monster daily, like 2-4 a day and have on and off for the past decade. Recently it seems like everyother can I get has a weird mildew taste to it (think the way a swim suit left on the floor for too long smells?) has anyone else experienced this recently? The mold wouldn't have gotten inside unless it like somehow burned a hole into the can.
But if the mold was on top and you opened it without thoroughly washing the can first then some of the mold could have gotten into the can. Mold growing on the bottom of my energy drink? It also tasted really weird so I was able to exchange it for a new one. 🤢.
