Today we have the rare 3.0 Manual BMW Z4 and we are going to review it in one of our brutally honest reviews! This is the E85 model of the Z4 and has the famous 3.0 M54 engine! When our 40,000-mile long-term date concluded, we took the Z4 back to the track, where it sprinted from 0 to 60 mph in a scant 5.6 seconds and covered the quarter. BMW fitted the Z4 with its smooth, sonorous six-cylinder engines from the start in 2.5- and 3.0-litre guises.

Both offer strong performance and were joined by a 2.2-litre six-cylinder in 2003. This latter engine was superseded by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder motor in 2005 which, although slower than the 2.2, is smoother and more enjoyable to use. BMW Z4 values E85 Z4s currently trade broadly between £3000-£10,000 for decent non-M models, though low-mileage 3.0-litre coupes can nudge £13,000.
