British furniture manufacturing company GPlan was launched in 1953, but its roots go back much further. The design of this teak G Plan's table is accredited to Victor Wilkins, who designed the Fresco range in the mid 1960s and it was produced at the company's premises in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The Model 4385 Dining Table was first launched in 1967, as part of G Plan's 'Fresco' range, and would have been manufactured throughout the 1960s and into the 1970s.
