Re: New Hongdian Inks. ~Inexpensive, but okay That Greenish. Black Forests get a lot of love on this subreddit, but the 517S is great too! For people skeptical-but-curious about Chinese fountain pens but don't want to shell out ~$30 for a Moonman (which are also worth it and have been good to me), definitely try out HongDian first.
