Deadpool Wolverine Color Grading

Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool & Wolverine has made a major change ahead of its release later this month. In the 30-second TV Spot released on July 1, fans found out that the color grading had been significantly altered. Fans, who saw the recently released Chinese version of the theatrical trailer, also noticed similar changes.

A Chinese trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine has been released and it features some new footage from the film along with finalized VFX, color grading, and sound. The trailer has a different look than what we've seen released in the States. i did a quick color grade to the Deadpool 3 trailer by applying a lut and adding more saturation and contrast to the image.

Think Fortnite, Overwatch, or the various Nickelodeon-esc channels. But no, in reality you grade to enhance the atmosphere and vibe of the scene - or it's a directors prerogative because that's their vision. The grading is absolutely on point for what they're trying to accomplish.
