Branding Guidelines Welcome to the James A. Garfield Schools Brand Guidelines. This page has been created to help maintain a consistent and strong visual identity for our school.

Garfield CLC athletic teams are known as the Golden Rams with school colors of maroon and gold. They compete as a member of the Akron City Series. Porter also selected the Bulldog as school mascot and the colors purple and white. The new James A. Garfield High School opened in September 1923 with over 1,000 students.
