I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
the Living One. I was dead, and behold, now I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of Death and of Hades. Jesus is not just a son in a manger.
He's the Savior of mankind! Truly, He was born to die, but He died to live again, and now He is alive forevermore! Hope is alive because He is alive! This is hope based on Jesus, who is our " high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek " (Hebrews 6:20). Our hope is truly an anchor of the soul.
Further, because Jesus is alive forevermore, we have a continual Intercessor who goes to the Father on our behalf. Alive forevermore I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18 I find this to be one of the most comforting verses in all the New Testament.
But Jesus did rise from the dead and He announced: "I AM THE LIVING ONE. I was dead and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades." Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life for ALL who believe on Him. and the Ever-living One [living in and beyond all time and space].
I died, but see, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of [absolute control and victory over] death and of Hades (the realm of the dead). It is not said I am He that was dead and liveth, but "I am He that liveth and was dead, but am alive forevermore." Life is mentioned before the death. There are two ways of looking at the cross.
