Cheetah Color Morphs

This is a colour morph, due either to a new mutation or to an existing recessive gene mutation carried in the local cheetah population. The presence of black facial markings and small, pale spots meants it is not an albino or leucistic cheetah. Blue morph - only occurs in the Arctic Fox Brown mutation Erythristic Golden Isabelline - a soft, pale off-white color with hints of beige.

Only occurs in the Bighorn Sheep King - only occurs in the Cheetah Leucistic Melanistic* Menil - only occurs in the European Fallow Deer Piebald** Pseudo. The site's currently on a long hiatus and I might never actually launch it, but I thought this would be really neat to share with you guys. in fact it's not only a matter of fur, within the cheetah species there are different races, which may have their physical or behavioral differences.

The Chinchilla Cheetah, or blue cheetah, is caused by a mutation that suppresses the distribution of melanin along in the individual hairs. Thus, the spots would appear blue or gray due to the sparse distribution of black color.
