Wolverine Outfit Colors

Wolverine kept this look throughout the 1970s and wore a slightly modified version again in the 1990s. This costume echoes the colors of the X-Men's original uniforms, and Logan embraced this look whenever he wanted to emphasize his relationship with the team. Wolverine's suit is largely based on his Red and Brown outfit, but the color scheme is a dark black and gray.

Lending a bit of menace to the ensemble are the red eye lenses. In Earth-666, Wolverine was an undead vampire and was wearing a black and red uniform similar in design to his classic brown and tan costume except for the colors. Wolverine's costume used the Ultimate X-men colors of yellow and black (or navy, depending on the colorist) and included some tiger stripe detailing.
