# 1.0.54 — 2026-10-12

## Features

- **`/resume`** takes an optional session id or title and opens the picker filtered to matching sessions.

## Bug Fixes

- **Pasted Windows line endings** reach the model as newlines, markdown images no longer show a stray "!", and dollar amounts that are not math stay plain text.
- **Write approval cards** show a binary or unreadable file as unreadable instead of garbled text.
- **Prompts you send while a session is resuming at startup** are queued and sent once it loads instead of staying in the composer.
- **A corrupt active-sessions registry** no longer stops new sessions from registering: grok keeps a backup, salvages the session rows it can read, and warns you.
- **Wrapped URLs** in shell command descriptions link to the full address on every row.
- **Worktree forks** (`grok -w -r` or `/fork` into a worktree) run in and show the worktree's path, so a shell command no longer edits the original checkout.
- **Links** are clickable in herdr panes.
- **Memory search** shows the matching part of a long line instead of cutting it off before the match.
- **`/memory`** skips a symlinked note instead of failing the whole listing.
- **Startup** is faster when `TMUX` names a tmux server that has stopped.
- **Failed MCP tool rows** wrap the error to the screen width and keep its line breaks.
- **`[skills].ignore`** matches a symlinked SKILL.md by the folder that holds it.
- **Failed file reads** expand to show why they failed.
- **Send now (Ctrl+Enter)** on a slash command runs or queues it as a command instead of sending it as a prompt.

## Performance

- **The idle welcome screen** uses less CPU.
- **Prompt undo history** is capped by size, so large pastes you delete no longer stay in memory.
- **Typing in a prompt that holds large pastes** is faster.
- **Long sessions** use less memory: long replies scrolled off screen release their render caches.
