\"\"Currently, Stanford University is restricting Visiting Scholars. When and if the program reopens, and in accordance with Stanford policies governing Visiting Scholars<\/a>, we’ll look forward to welcoming new visitors to the H-STAR community.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Consistent with our belief that many of the major problems we focus on can be solved only by cross-disciplinary research on an international scale, H-STAR welcomes visiting scholars from universities and research laboratories all over the world.<\/p>\n

While some visitors come on an individual basis, our experience has been that visits are generally more productive when made as part of an institutional H-STAR collabortation. Current and past\u00a0\u00a0H-STAR institutional visiting organizations include the Japanese public television corporation NHK<\/a>,\u00a0Tallinn University of Technology<\/a>\u00a0in Estonia,\u00a0the Finnish university system, through the Finnish technology agency\u00a0Tekes<\/a>, the Danish university system, through the Danish technology agency\u00a0DASTI<\/a>,\u00a0Sony Corporation<\/a>, the\u00a0Mitsubishi Electric Company<\/a>, and the European Innovation Academy<\/a>.<\/p>\n
