Fabolous at Sirius Satellite Radio in June 2007 Fabolous' third album, Real Talk was released on November 5, 2004. It debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 with sales of 179,000 copies, and had two charting singles-the lowest in his career at the time. The singles, "Breathe" and "Baby", featuring Mike Shorey, and show a more sensitive side of the rapper that he had shown in many songs.

Jackson subsequently signed to DJ Clue's Desert Storm imprint, and later secured a distribution deal. Fabolous is a Grammy-nominated East Coast rapper who was able to attain platinum status by balancing hardcore hip-hop with pop-rap and punchlines, similar to fellow NYC stars JAY-Z, The Notorious. The discography of American rapper Fabolous consists of seven studio albums, two extended plays, 58 singles (38 as a featured artist), and eleven mixtapes, amongst other recordings. Although he has been a flagship artist for Def Jam Recordings and Desert Storm Records, his first three studio albums were released by Elektra Records and Atlantic Records. John David Jackson, known professionally as Fabolous, is an American rapper.
Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition for his ability upon performing live on DJ Clue's Hot 97 radio show. Jackson then signed to Clue's record label Desert Storm Records, in a joint venture with Elektra Records. He rose to further prominence with his debut studio album Ghetto Fabolous, which spawned the hit.
