Hyundai Genesis Bk1

BK1 means 2009-2012 Genesis Coupe models. BK2 currently means 2013+ models. BK is the body style.

We cant really use 1st generatino or 2nd generation (I don't remember why though) so we use BK1 and BK2. I think it's because some of the BK2 models use BK1 power plants so it wouldn't make sense. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Bk2 is the way to go if you're going for something more GT and not much into the modding scene. The 3.8 bk2 is what you should aim for. However if you're looking at the ultimate model, the 2013 used 3.8 ultimate could set you at least 13-18k.

If your price is adamant, you can settle for a BK1, however it comes with many known problems that aren't worth saving that extra few grands. Go for BK2. Discussion area for Hyundai Genesis.

Rather than the cheap, hard plastic and lower-grade leather of my old 3.8 Track interior, Hyundai updated their 2011 models with higher quality leather and vinyl surfaces. Bk1 vs Bk2? Loving my Bk1 2.0t Genny but sometimes I feel like trading her in for a Bk2 3.8 (More Power, Updated Features, And better styling imo) What's your guys opinion?
