The KURA is set up "high bed" style at the moment and I'm thinking about moving the ladder to the short end and having a small double-bed protruding from under it? I know it would be v low head height for the bit under the KURA, but it would be for occasional use so not a massive issue. Yup my lad has this same bed and it's revered configuration. The instructions tell you how to build both but essentially you aren't moving the end panel, just remove the ladder and ladder side, flip it and reconnect.
