Drawing Bert

Bert is the more serious and laid-back character of the duo, known for his iconic brown hair and mustache. To get his look right, start by drawing a circle for the head and a slightly tilted oval for the face.

  • Draw a small circle for Bert's head and a slightly tilted oval for the face.
  • Sketch a slightly pointed chin and a long, pointed nose.
  • Draw a curly mustache and slightly parted hair.

Coloring Bert

Bert's hair is iconic for being curly, brown, and stylish. Use a medium to dark brown marker or colored pencil to shade in Bert's hair, starting at the roots and working your way down. Add wisps of hair at the bangs to give him a charming look. For his eyebrows, draw two thin lines above his eyes.

Drawing Ernie

Ernie is the happier and more optimistic part of the duo, recognizable by his bright blue shirt, blue pants, and blonde hair. Start drawing a circle for Ernie's head and add a tiny bow tie to give him an even more precise personality.
