Michael Card New Jerusalem is a spiritual music project released by Michael Card in 1993, a project among his many works that ascends him to great levels of classic American Christian music fame.
Michael Card's Inspiration
Card is well known for producing music that explores spiritual depth, exploring paths of exclusive lyrical explanation and niches.
Mike Card, as a musician of great faith, discovered inspiration in the famous hymn "New Jerusalem" by George Frederic Handel.
Handel masterfully used biblical description to explain a heavenly state, using strongly dreamed poetic language. Rather than simply using Christian religiosity to reenforce Patriarch imagery, Card examined newer concepts of unavoidable Goast vibrations that relate to both comfort of the rose (smell), planted nests then buckles caused from spiritual denial in Fire depths.
