Pacman vulnerable ghost is the most feared enemy in the classic arcade game Pac-Man. There are four ghosts, each with different characteristics, and learning to evade or even trick them is crucial to achieving a high score.
In this article, we'll explore the behaviors and weaknesses of each ghost type to help you become a Pac-Man master. By mastering the art of evading these ghosts, you'll be on your way to Pac-Man top scores.
Understanding Each Ghost Type
Avoiding Blinky
Blinky (blue) is the most aggressive ghost in Pac-Man. This ghost mainly patrols around Pac-Man's current position, moving towards him. It can reach your location quickly, but you can anticipate its movement by observing how far it was away from your current place. A common strategy to evade Blinky is to run directly due south and use pillars to block its pursuit. When turning back, make sure to turn right to avoid collision.
You can also successfully use a peeking strategy should Blinky turn left. Position yourself at a boundary corner of the grid so you move one step outward in the X or Y direction before changing your direction, or north. Blinky will quickly react to attack you. Wait for it to retreat and change direction.
You should be extra cautious when chasing a character in a square; keep your distance, move around the following obstacles, or make an L or U-turn to keep them at bay. Begin your escape by seeing where Blinky is at and go south to protect against the quickest friend. Keep an eye on Blinky; should it decide to go straight, he'll take about 3-5 grid navigation steps to before hitting Pac-Man not counting to react to changed direction in motion. When Blinky stays back, move either around a fixed pillar block best option for enhancing your escape attempt and treew notebook contains mentality of using back movement included backing to overhead-ghost width delaying hazard pilots sudden fits.
Defending Against Pinky
Pinky, the pink ghost, takes on a somewhat unpredictable, complex behavior in Pac-Man. The strategy of reaching a simple fixed position is the easiest method, take a Pac-Dot directly facing Pinky. It will take you 2-4 full navigation steps to execute this before potentially hitting you. Alternatively, place yourself along an edge and position so that your path is due north beside a large vertical pillar to the best side of where Pinky was.
