These are the Corriedales of Quebon Coloured Sheep. It's a mix of colours you wouldn't normally see on an Australian farm. Melissa, by day a natural resource management officer with South East Local Land Services (LLS), was first captivated by coloured sheep at Richmond High School in Sydney's west.

1 Coloured SHEEP Owner's Society South Australia" May 25, 2024 Heritage Sheep Australia May 18, 2024 International Heritage Breeds Week commences tomorrow and is an opportunity to showcase our Heritage livestock breeds. Naturally, we will be concentrating on our Heritage sheep breeds. There are currently 10 heritage.

We produce naturally coloured pure-bred Corriedale sheep and fleeces - black, grey, moorit and white. Our sheep have found homes across NSW, VIC and QLD and our fleeces have been sold to spinners and felters right across Australia. Melissa Henry and Simon Maher are the owners of Quebon Coloured Sheep along with our daughter Ruby. The flock was established in 2004 and is located in Young NSW.

The South Australian Coloured Sheep Owners' Society members come from all walks of life, backgrounds and professions. Some are commercial farmers producing coloured wool and woollen products for sale, some breed coloured sheep on a small scale for fun and some do not even own sheep.

We are very passionate about developing the coloured Babydoll in Australia, focusing on producing a sheep that embodies the look and type of a purebred Babydoll, retaining its superb meat qualities, temperament and small size, yet with the added splash of colour.
