Nothing, apart from the cars and a few haircuts, really looks 80's on this show. And this is the colour palette that's mainly used. You have three persons in a shot and all they wear is blue/teal and orange/brown (or shades of), it gets ridiculous. When was the last time we did see someone with a bright green or red top? The clothes, furniture, walls everything is in a shade of these.

Advice on shooting and color grading in snow So I'm shooting a short film with some DSLRs and a BlackMagic Cinema Camera. I'll be shooting RAW with the BMCC and the DSLRs will mostly be for portrait shots when I can blur the background and will have more lighting control.
