Color Group Illustrator

Good folks of illustrator, how do you save a colour group with more than 5 colours? Is there another way I should be adding a colour pallete to my swatches library?

There are Color Groups in Illustrator. Using Color Groups in the Swatches Panel you can switch between groups easily. This works best if each group has the same number of swatches in it. The animation below is using Illustrator CS6, but it's relatively the same in CC versions. Merely set up color groups containing swatches you'd like to use.

Using color groups is a great way to organize your swatches in Adobe Illustrator. You can create groups that make sense to you-perhaps group your corporate colors, group by job, or group using color harmony rules. To group objects by color in Illustrator, select all objects of a single color by clicking on one of them and navigating to the Select menu, choose Same, and select Fill Color. Then, group them together by navigating to Object and selecting Group.
