Looking to buy some poster paints similar to the Nicker ones used by Ghibli artists but they're not available in the UK. Does anyone have any good recommendations for other brands more common over here with similar vibrancy/low cost?

I prefer the art style of the one on the right which is the art style of the Cardcaptora Sakura anime as the art style of the character faces of the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card anime are too roundish.

Gouache vs Poster Paint (Knicker, etc)? Hi all! I'm looking to buy my first gouache paints and plan to do some Kazuo Oga master studies to learn the medium before tackling some of my own paintings. I know Kazuo uses Knicker Poster Color, which seems to be very similar to gouache.

I own nicker poster colors and unless mine are defective they're essentially just a studio Ghibli display item on my shelf because they have a super different feel than my traditional gouache sets. they literally feel like somebody took a lightweight plastic and melted it down.
