Black Bath Mat Reddit

The green blends in enough with the black and white, that the rust doesn't really feel out of place or like a contradiction to the green. Both rust and green together give some autumnal vibes:) plus it adds some warmth to complement the lighting too. I keep having the same problem with my bath mats - after just three or four washings, the padding on the bottom starts to flake and come away.

Any suggestions for mats that won't do this? Ideally from Amazon, just for convenience, but willing to consider all options for quality. Does anyone know anything about the softer/flexible diatomaceous earth bath mats I've seen advertised recently? They don't appear to be as soft or plush as a standard bath mat, but it seems like a nice potential middle ground. None of the people who liked this comment have ever had white bath mats obviously! This may seem like an odd one, but do high quality bathroom rugs exist anymore? I have some that have lasted more than ten years with proper care, but I've been shopping for new ones for a new color scheme for the last couple of years and have been unable to find anything that's good quality. About once every year or two my wife and I have to get a new bathroom floor mat (outside of the shower) because they get discolored from mold even though we wash them. I'm looking for a bathroom floor mat that won't get moldy, doesn't require being washed and doesn't need to be hung up to dry.

There's anti-fungal materials out there that mildew and the like can't grow on, but I can't seem to. Help! What color bath mat should I choose? It just can't be white. You can't see in the pics but the current mat is yucked.

The diatomaceous earth bath "stones" can hold something like 150% of their weight in water. Because they form a nanostructure they effectively have a massive surface area and that makes them excellent at also evaporating water. I don't know how the ambient humidity may adversely affect that aspect but it won't have any effect on the mat's ability to store water.
