I'd use this as an all rounf internal primer. Zinsser Cover Stain provides durability and adhesion on smooth and glossy surfaces. If you're working on a bigger area use a 9 inch 3/8 inch nap woven roller like a white dove from sherwin.

Like the guy above said, work small areas and get your back rolling done fast. Keep some denatured alcohol with you to clean up messes and to thin the primer if its drying in your pan.
