A photo from a Texas Target store has gone viral for supporting breastfeeding moms. Plus nursing rooms are coming to all remodeled stores. Select Target locations have launched a "nursing nook" or "feeding station" in-store so moms are able to comfortably feed baby in public.
These stations include two cozy chairs, a small table, free breast pads and breastfeeding covers. Breastfeeding Mama Talk shared this photo on Facebook of a nursing nook in Braunfels, Texas. A Target store in Weatherford, Texas posted a sign about a nursing room for moms who want more privacy.
Target You no longer have to worry about covering up when breastfeeding at Target. Target stores have a nursing policy that assures all moms that they can breastfeed wherever and whenever since to them, mothers rock! Furthermore, if you feel you need more privacy and comfort you can ask the Fitting Room Attendant to direct you to the nursing room. Thank you, Target!, said another.
Target's nursing rooms were originally introduced to about 40 remodeled stores, but following the positive reactions of moms, they decided to include them in every store remodeling plan.
