Friendship can be earned with Mistria's residents. As friendships deepen, dating, and eventually marriage. I don't understand color indicator of the heart gifts.

I'm not colorblind, but having a partially colorblind father, I know for a fact he wouldn't be able to tell they changed until 4 heart green.
