Is a heater in the bathroom fan worth it? I'm going to be replacing my bathroom fan as part of an ongoing yearly battle against shower mold. However I have found a few models that also have a heater in them. I like the idea of being able to stay warm while drying off, especially since this new fan will likely be robbing me of precious warm air.
The common Broan 655 is a piece of junk. Loud, fans don't last long, heat all seems to be sucked out by the exhaust fan if run simultaneous. Is there a good alternative? Is it even possible to put the heat and exhaust fan in the same unit or will it always get sucked straight out? Put a heater in the wall? Panasonic seems to make many in this space but too many choices.
