Wiring the 3-Way Switch Diagram with Three Lights

Step 1: Run the Power Supply
Run a 14/2 cable from your power source (like a junction box or the main panel) to the first switch box. This cable will supply power to the circuit.

Connect the black (hot) wire from the power supply to the common terminal of the first 3-way switch. Run a 14/3 cable from this switch box to the second switch box. Connect the two travelers to the travelers' terminals on the switch.
